1. Pluck your eyebrows after a bath or shower, as the hot steam will have opened up the pores on your face — reducing any discomfort, and making it easier.
2. Make sure that you are in good, preferably natural light and use a magnifying mirror if possible. Always gently hold the skin taut as you pluck.
3. You should pluck your eyebrows at least two or three days prior to your wedding. This ensures any redness or sensitivity disappears before you need to apply your bridal make-up.
4. Always brush your eyebrows before you start, and pluck from underneath to define the shape. Cool the area with a dab of rosewater on cotton wool.
5. Invest in some good quality tweezers as they make the task much easier. An eyebrow brush is also worth buying, but I find that a baby's toothbrush works just as well.
