Hen night fun

Well, I've finally recovered from a friend's hen night last weekend, it was so much fun! No doubt a lot of you will have hen dos coming up too, either for your own weddings or friends' 'last nights of freedom'!

I must admit, I was a bit worried about dressing in head-to-toe 80s fancy dress and parading around Bristol city centre. And I was dreading learning the dance routine — I have a memory like a goldfish so I was unsure how I'd remember all the moves! We all met up on Saturday morning — 25 of us dressed in neon Fame gear, it was hilarious! We learnt the dance to Fame with a dance company run by two lovely ladies, who got us in the mood with champagne and nibbles. I was surprised how much enjoyed it and got into it once we started learning the routine. They filmed the final dance, which I'm looking forward to seeing — especially as I was in the front row! We then went on a boat cruise around Bristol before going to an 80s-themed nightclub. I think the best thing about the day was being with such a great group of girls — and the fancy dress ensured we caused a real stir wherever we went!
